so i finally have a thesis defense date! hooray! it's been a lot of work to figure out & coordinate (since i'm defending late)--but it's going to be july 27th.
in other news, i have been trying to work out a blog template for ages--maybe the past 2 months (clearly, i don't work on this very much) but i finally have it sorted (i think.) almost, at least. but hopefully this one will stick around for awhile. i've been pretty particular about fonts and such and so it's taken awhile to get to something i like.
also back to the thesis, i thought i was going to have to change up my readers (as july is a hard month for people to make) but it looks like my whole original committee can still read for me. this is great news 1.) because i really really like my committee 2.) because it saves me a ton of work trying to scramble to find someone else.

hey jenny! thanks for asking! right now it's this really strange mix of short rescue scenes (lightning strikes, car wrecks, water rescues), essays about the glacier i fell into and then stories about orbs, portals and other parts of the charismatic church. i'm not (yet) sure how these will magically hang together and become book-like, but i think they're somehow all about rescue. so we'll see!
