mason

in other animal news, i'm happy to report that i'm not allergic to mason, the cat i'm watching.

besides an initial little nip on the wrist (he's scared of strangers), we've been doing great. lots of him hanging out on my lap. i usually don't love--or even like--cats past the kitten stage, but i really really like this one. he's small, cute, the perfect shade of gray & he's really scrappy. once when my friend meagan was watching mason, he went outside for a little bit, and came back dragging a whole bag of marinated meat, probably right off the edge of somebody's grill. then, another time, when i was over at mason's for dinner, we were all sitting in the living room, and suddenly, mason bounced in, covered in white. (he'd found, unwrapped, and stuck his whole head in the white dessert we were about to have.) a very dog-like cat, but easier!

also, he's very fond of typing on my computer, which i think must mean, that he's dying to say something. unfortunately, this morning, the screen wasn't on when he was typing, otherwise i'd publish for you all he had wanted to say.
