grocery store

woah: two posts in one day. maybe more than this blog can handle.

i would just like to lament that i am returning to the grocery store, for the second time (that makes three times.) i'm horrible about lists, and always mean to buy all the things i need in one trip to the store, but have gotten home, twice, to find out i am missing essential things. good heavens.

i do kind of miss norway (well, i really miss it), where the local skjop was right next door--so i could wander over five, six times a week if i needed to. (also, there's really no preservatives, so that makes the food better, but also requires more frequent buying.) the skjop was small there, too--only 4 aisles, and i knew the shopowner, tuna. it's much easier to get things in 4 aisles.

i now go to a mega-grocery store, a fact i'm a bit appalled by, myself. but i don't even know if we have a little grocery store in town. i don't think we do.
