The good news is that the backyard has been wholly cleaned up & I've sprayed the driveway for weeds. The grass is regrowing in the once tall, then dead section. I also braved the snakes to finally get rid of the old fenceposts and metal garden stuff that was all lining the back of the garage (& had become totally overgrown with weeds and grass.)
Here are some before and after shots of that section of yard. The bad news is that my garden is also growing, weeds! A mere one week after cutting it all down and pulling out *all* the weeds, more have returned! It's ridiculous! I really don't want to spray anything in the garden as I'd like it to be a viable place for growing food.
